/ZERO: Citrus’ complex formulation has been specifically developed to be safe on paint, whilst also having a suitable pH and highly concentrated citrus content to soften traffic film and bug splatter so it can be easily rinsed away.

  • 1. What is /ZERO: Citrus and how is it different from a standard pre-wash?
    /ZERO: Citrus is a premium, citrus-based pre-wash and all-purpose cleaner formulated with powerful di-limonene and gentle, biodegradable sugar surfactants. Unlike harsh alkali cleaners, it dissolves road grime, bugs, and traffic film whilst remaining gentle on good quality waxes, sealants, and ceramic coatings.

     

    2. Where can I use it?
    Extremely versatile. You can safely use it on painted surfaces (including matte), wheels, glass, metals, plastics, rubbers, and even interior components like textiles, plastics, and engine bays.

     

    3. How should I dilute it?
    Adjust based on contamination level:

    • Light soiling up to 1:100

    • Moderate grime around 1:50

    • Heavy buildup up to 1:4 - 1:10

    Use it in foam lances, trigger sprayers, or bucket wash setups. 

     

    4. Is it safe for my coatings and sealants?
    When diluted correctly, /ZERO: Citrus is safe to use on vehicles with existing protection. It’s an effective maintenance tool that helps remove grime and road film without compromising durable waxes, sealants, or ceramic coatings.

     

    For shorter-term products such as show waxes, quick detailers or temporary sealants, some degradation may occur but this isn’t typically an issue, as these are often reapplied post-wash as part of regular maintenance.

     

    5. Can it be used on the interior?
    Absolutely. Its citrus-based formula makes it safe and effective as an all-purpose cleaner for interior plastics, fabric trims, and engine bay components.
