/THREE: hades wheel coating
/THREE: Hades is a highly resilient and durable hydrophobic ceramic coating for automotive alloy wheels and is based on the very latest Quartz Nano-Coating Technology. When applied, it forms a hard crystalline layer that is extremely resistant to heat and abrasion from brake dust particles but also highly resistant to chemical attack.

By forming strong covalent bonds to the surface, Hades forms a hard slick layer that enhances gloss and self cleaning characteristics thus accelerating the wheel cleaning process. As a result, Hades is the ideal coating for protecting components like brake calipers, suspension, exhaust and engine components.

Application:
This product is suitable for painted, powder coated, anodised, matte and bare metal surfaces such as alloy, steel, stainless and titanium on automotive vehicles and motorbikes. Do not apply this product to aftermarket paint work for up to 2-3 months as a precaution, low quality paintwork, glass, textiles, absorbent materials such as tyres and soft trims.

/THREE: Hades, How long does last for?
from our testing in closed controlled test conditions and with vehicles out in the field (every day use), you can get up to 2 years of protection / durability. This is heavily dependant on the type of wheel, car, driving style, use, braking components and mileage covered.

For good durability to be realised you must ensure that the coating has been installed as per the instructions (two coats) and is regularly maintained with garage therapy products. We must stress that paint preparation, for any last stage protection product is absolutely key for longevity. We recommend doing a full decontamination which involves chemical and mechanical methods to properly prep the paint for any protective product.

Can I top /THREE: Hades with /THREE: CHIMERA top coat?
Yes this is our recommended configuration for best performance and looks. Chimera has been designed primarily to feed our professional only coating /THREE: Typhon. it has also been formulated to provide a protective hydrophobic layer to our other coatings /THREE: Cerberus and /THREE: hades. it boosts important characteristics such as chemical resistance, slip and water contact angles to aid self cleaning capabilities of the coatings and guard against water spotting. The added benefit is better durability of the main base coating used and of course added depth and gloss.

Does /THREE: Hades alter the finish?
Hades is compatible with all finishes of alloy. on Matt and satin wheel finishes hades will tend to darken ever so slightly but not alter the finish of the alloy i.e. make it shiny.​
